Is work a curse?

Let me tell you this, I'm not someone that is saying anything regarding a domination above another. Being Baptist doesn't make me feel Baptist is the perfect, but it's a good denomination to belong to.
So, whatever I say, it's a fact from the Bible, I don't ask any to believe anything outside the Bible. I give my proves and wherever I'm concluding on mere conjecture, I will let you know and you are free to disregard it or accept it. But I won't watch any disregarding the Bible on any matter, as I will take it on.

To say the fact in its simplest form, WORK is not a curse from God. If any teaches contrary to that, such is speaking against the Bible.

Here we go.

Back in Genesis chapter 3, “To Adam he said, because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree that I commanded you to not eat of, cursed is the ground because of you.  Through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.  It will produce thorns and thistles for you and you will eat the plants of the field.  By the sweat of your brow you will eat food until you return to the ground.”

Is work a curse?

You say, “yes, work is a curse.”  No, go back before the fall,  when Adam and Eve were in the garden before there was any temptation, was Adam given a task to do?  Was Adam to take care of the garden and work the garden?  Were Adam and Eve to work the garden before the fall?

Yes.  Work is not the curse.

The curse is the futility of work.
Have you ever worked for something, and then watched it all fall apart?
You work very hard to do it, but at the end everything just tumbled.
That's futility of the Work and it's the curse.

Gen 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

Adam was given a task. Do you remember what it is? He got to name all the animals!
When a single person is naming all living things we have on this planet, that's a serious work that will takes time.

Gen 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

God gave him task to take care of the Garden of Eden.

Work is not a curse!
Futility of Work is the curse!
