Evil Spirit, is it always evil?

The Bible says we should test every spirit if it comes from God or not.

Don't you think evil spirit should be easily recognized?

Do you remember when God was giving the characteristics of a true prophet? It's not in Genesis, we are going to go through it in Deuteronomy. What's the difference between false and true prophet? The only reliable way to differentiate is with the scripture. True prophet doesn’t go against the scripture. That's it. Anything else can be acquired by false prophet.

My Pastor speaks in tongue, my pastor has healing power, my pastor is a miracle worker. Those stuffs don't concern Jesus compared to obedience. Jesus himself said it. Word of God is the most powerful weapon you possess as a Christian.

Our problem is just that we are having the wrong view of Satan. You see Satan as the person that always offer bad stuffs. That's far away from his person.

Does Satan cares whether you are conversant with your Bible?
He only cares if it equips you against him.

Does he cares you goto church services regularly?
Satan can motivate you to read your Bible, even to attend church services. Is that strange stuffs coming out of from me? You got to know your enemy. Satan is satisfied with every good things you do, once he had an evil embedded in your ways.

Do you know the Jews in the Bible?
Are they not regular in Church/temple/synagogue services?
Are they not conversant with the scripture?
What would Satan think of the Pharisees?
He was glad they were what they were.

Miracles, financial freedom, healings in the church doesn’t really make God the head, Mr Satan may be the one mastering the church. Once he had one evil being propagated in the church.

You may feel connected to God in spirit. You got to check yourself with scripture. It's our only perfect mirror.

Satan characters is made known to us through out the scripture. He kills with an unknown. That is what you don't know? It's impossible to defeat his tactic without the help of scripture. Cause you may see yourself being good and obedient before the Lord, whereas, it's contrary.

Make your scripture your priority.
Make your lifestyle flexible to conform with the scripture. Some people do interpret Bible to conform with their lifestyle.
Always be in developing mode.
We are all in a race, we are moving toward perfection i.e. Christ. So,there is always stuffs to make better in your life.

Make your lifestyles flexible towards scripture. Conform it with the scripture. Don't conform scripture with your lifestyle. It's evil.

Be eager to make correction! You are not good enough, there is more to be done.

You don't have your life to live. All belong to Christ. Live the life, according to the scripture.

We are connected. We are a family. Don't hold back from telling your brethren the bad he or she is doing. Like my Pastor normally said, " If you are truly heading towards heaven, you won't be watching some else heading toward destruction. Since you are both on your way to darkness, no need to talk."

Make your scripture your priority.
Don't ignore brother or sister that tries to correct you.

What and how you feel doesn't matter. I tell you.
Be equipped.

Don't hold anything outside christ to be true.
So many myths embedded in our culture and traditions, be careful on what you believe to be true. Satan can use any against you.

For example:
A Muslim and a Christian were telling me when we die, our Ghost will rise up and see how he/she died, whether he/she was murdered and how he/she was killed.

Does it make sense?
You have to be careful in believing stuffs outside Bible. Can it be proved biblical?
The belief has been in existence before the advent of Christianity in our culture. It's stupidity arguing such to be true. Holding those kinds of myths when it contradict God, is a loophole that is useful for Satan. He can manipulate your life with it.

Let me give you an example of such manipulation.

You know my Pastor? Dr. Oluwoye, you can ask him I said this about him.
He said and I Quote, " back then when I was new in Christ. I believed eating food  presented to me by unknown in dreams means devil is attacking me or I'm being initiated. That’s what we believe it to mean. I went to different vigil, mountains and prayed against it, but it was to no avail. I eat in dreams, I feel like God is not with me anymore . I went to (he mentioned the pastor's name,) program. During the Programme, the pastor said, ' see this so called witches, people say they can harm you with their pounded yam and vegetable soup. Well, if you know them, please tell them to add more to the pounded yam, cause the food never satisfy. Don't be scared my people, it's deceit" I was glad and feel connected to God, so, I'm not the only one eating the food. When I got home, I prayed when it was time to sleep, you know what I said before lieing down. 'please let your pounded yam make sense if you are bringing it tonight' , I laughed to myself. The dream stopped repeating itself that day. Satan knew I caught him."

That's one of the great lesson I learnt on believing some stuffs, satan can use it to manipulate you.
Before you believe anything, you got to know where it's originated from, and why you should believe it.

If you feel something to be good, but a brethren proved it otherwise with the scripture. You got to amend your way. Your feelings doesn't  matter. 

Once again. The scripture urges us to always seek after perfection.

They do this so that they will win a reward. But that reward continues for a short time only. But we rule ourselves in all things so that we will win God’s reward. And that reward continues always.

%v 26% So, I run in a straight line to the end of the race. Also, I fight like someone who hits well. I do not hit the air.

%v 27% I rule my own body strongly and I make it my slave. I have taught other people about how to run this race. And I myself also want to win the reward from God. I do not want God to say to me: ‘You yourself do not do the things that you teach. So, I am removing you from the race.
