The Freedom We Have In Christ.

My last article was about Unitarianism and Trinity, and the rest of the article is still pending. I will finish it soon.

Today, I would like to touch the foolishness of so many Christians, if you find that insulting, calm down and forgive my use of Words. Let me go straight into what I got to say. So many times I do hear many Christians talking and boasting of the freedom they have in Christ. It's kinda pathetic and sad to see a fellow Christian who doesn't understand the fundamental teachings of the Gospel. I will write this in uppercase case, " YOUR FREEDOM IS NOT A FREEDOM" . That's the truth, whether you care to listen or not. But when does your freedom becomes bondage?

Let me bring Neil Anderson into this, he says " Once I was invited to speak to a Religion class at a Catholic high school in the topic of Protestant Christianity. At the end of my walk, an athletic-looking, street-wise Student raised his hand and asked, "Do you have a lot of Don'ts in your church"
Sensing that he had a deeper motivesl, I answered, "what you really want to ask me is if we have any freedom, right?" He nodded in agreement.
"Sure, I'm free to do whatever I want to do", I answered.
His face mirrored his disbelief. "Get serious," he said.
"Sure, man, " I said.
" I'm free to rob a bank. But I'm mature enough to realise that I would be in bondage to that act for the rest of my life. I'd have to cover up my crime, go into hiding or eventually pay for what I did. I'm also free to tell a lie. But if I do, I have to keep telling it, and I have to remember who I told it to and how I told it or I will get caught. I'm free to do drugs, abuse alcohol and live a sexually immoral life-style. A of those FREEDOMS lead to bondage. I'm free to make those choices, but considering the consequences , would I really be free? "

Dr. Neil actually nailed my point.
Are you saying, "I don't do all those stuffs, so I'm not under law?". Actually, he is not giving you a list, and neither am I.
What is your freedom? You are not under law.... WOW... Yeah... Fantastic. You got to remember walking in the spirit is a necessity, oooops , not actually necessary. But it's the only necessity to whoever is a child of God. You remember Jesus statement, " God is spirit" so you got to worship him in Spirit. You got that? Does walking in the spirit Actually means you are free to do anything you want? Most people mistake is just that lay emphasis on "You are not under the law" , but failed to check the best part, which is "walking in the spirit". Walking in the Spirit doesn't mean you are free to do any sort of things you want. Being led by the Spirit means You are free to live a Godly, Moral and responsible life. Something you can't do under the law. Infact, Walking in the Spirit Actually means living within the context of the protective guidance of God as Dr Neil put it.

Walking is Spirit is not a Law. OK. Let me put it this way. It's not legalism as some so called "preacher" would put it. One of them said, " Tithe is necessary for salvation" seriously speaking, that's the dumbest assertion I've ever had from a preacher. Some preachers need to take back the book of Leviticus. If someone understand what exactly in there, he will not utter such nonsense, that's different Gospel. You can come and hit me for that. I don't expect him to understand the Gospel when he failed to understand Leviticus.

Telling someone not to do this or that, Actually doesn't strengthen them against it. Forbidden fruit is always the most desirable.

Struggling, Striving to obey Christian rules and regulations will not make you a Spirit-led person. A Spirit-led person hardly know if Actually there's a rules or regulations he or she needs to follow. If you ask me what  the basic rules in Christianity is. I will be wondering what exactly you are talking about. Being free to do whatever you want is not being under the Law. When you hear, "You are not under law" the equivalent is * You are walking according to the Spirit" not "I'm free to do anything"  it's either you belong to one of the two.  Gal 5:18.
What many perceived to be freedom is nothing but bondage. Gal 5:1.

There are actually rules of behaviour in the Bible, but am I saying they are bad. God forbids!!! God law is Holy. You hear me saying that.. Yeah. We are about to get into the confusion part, I will make it simple. God's law is something important that provides protective moral guidance. And as Prof Zavi would put it " Law is like a mirror, you look at the mirror to see how you look, not to clean yourself. Mirror is not going to clean your dirt, but it reveals it unto you* Law is not what cleanse you or clear your sin, it reveals your sin to you. With the aid of this Laws, you can actually measure your relationship with God i.e your Spirit-led life. Is it measurable? Not really. What I'm specifically saying is that Law tells you if you are walking in the Spirit or not.

Law actually belongs to the lower realm and Walking in Spirit belongs to the higher realm. You get into dirt or let me say sin, in the lower realm, but you need to be in the higher realm to get rid of your dirts. If you are gradually getting into dirts, you are heading to lower realm.

To make this more simpler.... I will be explaining what "Walking in the Spirit means" in full details. I will try to break it into its meaning units... Thanks for reading. You got to walk in the Spirit.
